During 2023, sales in stores from the north to the south of Portugal were mostly positive, compared to sales in 2022.
September and October, unlike the other months, saw negative figures for high street stores, especially in the north and center of Portugal. These stores showed a lower number of sales compared to the same period in 2022.
However, January and March were the months that saw large positive figures, particularly in Greater Porto and Greater Lisbon.
The same happened in shopping centers, with sales in October 5% lower than in the same month of the previous year.
Overall, both high street stores and shopping centers saw a significant positive increase, with the exception of a few months in which the figure was negative.
