From january to october 2023, store sales from all over Portugal were mostly positive when compared to the same period in the previous year (2022).

However, september and october proved to be particularly negative months, especially for high street stores located in the North, Center and Greater Porto, with these stores showing significantly lower sales than in September 2022.
The same was observed for stores located in shopping centers in general, with sales 5% lower in october than in the same month of the previous year.
These numbers enable us to foresee a pre-Black Friday and Christmas period with major campaigns, which will allow stores to sell off existing stock resulting from the low volume of sales.
